Dictation

I’d love to see an option for dictation and “smart dictation” that allows users to speak their notes (or portions of them) instead of typing. The system would automatically convert spoken input into well-formatted text that fits naturally within the clinical note template.
This would be especially helpful when reviewing or summarizing past or external records, such as reading relevant sections from a recent hospitalization discharge summary to include in the current outpatient note. Having the AI format that content appropriately (e.g., under History, Assessment, or Plan) would make documentation faster and more seamless, without needing to type or reformat manually.
Ideally, the feature would:
-Transcribe speech accurately and maintain professional formatting.
-Optionally summarize or structure content intelligently (“smart dictation”) rather than just producing raw transcription.
-Allow insertion of dictated sections anywhere within the note.

Yes - there have been times when a glitch has occured and my session was not recorded. In a quick attempt to voice dictate a brief summary between sessions, it is requiring me to share with a screen, which defeats the purpose of a microphone dictation note.
