There should be a Medication Section at the top of each note much like there are sections for "Note", "Diagnosis", "Treatment Plan", and "Patient Email". Having this as a separate section would be helpful because it would be easy to edit and it would easily carry from note to note. Currently it tries to carry medications from previous notes but that is not always accurate. But if it was a separate section altogether, then it would be much more accurate and easy to make changes to. It would function similarly to the diagnosis section where if that is correctly filled out, it appropriately carries those diagnoses into every note unless the diagnoses are changed.
